When Nepal's devastating flash floods on August 26 left over 1,000 dead and nearly 4,000 still missing — Sonu Sood posted on X: "Nepal, you are not alone. We are coming with food, shelter and the strength to help you rebuild."
On September 2, he landed in Kathmandu. With his Sood Charity Foundation team. With blankets. With food materials. All brought from India. 🇮🇳
"We are here to meet all the victims of the flood. We just want to be with the people who are in need and will try to bring their lives back on track." — Sonu Sood 💛
He met the families. He met the children. He sat with people who had lost their homes, their loved ones and their childhood. And he shared a photo with Nepalese children, writing — "They lost their homes, their families, their childhood. But together, we will help them find a new beginning." 💔🙏
And then came the most important promise — "We will make sure that not only this month but also in coming months — the relief keeps coming." 💛
1,000+ lives lost. 4,000 still missing. And one man who didn't just tweet — he showed up. 🙏
