IPL dates announced

The dates of 31 March 2023 through 28 May 2023 have been set for IPL 2023.

Ten-team format, 70 matches, 12 venues.

Since the BCCI expanded to ten teams for IPL 2022, that number will remain the same for IPL 2023. There will be 70 league matches spread across 12 locations.

12 venues, Home-away format, 14 league matches

In 2023, the Indian Premier League will visit 12 locations across the country. An "away" and "home" mentality will be implemented. There will be a total of 14 league games played, with each team hosting 7.

2023 follows 2012, Teams divided equally

IPL 2023 will follow the same structure as IPL 2012. The teams will be split in half.
