The Adipurush trailer is a big step up from the film’s teaser. It raised eyebrows due to Saif Ali Khan’s appearance as Lankesh. The trailer hardly even features him. Om Raut returns with another epic, Adipurush, after the success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. After the dramatic teaser was panned by audiences for shoddy VFX and Saif Ali Khan’s look as Lankesh, a new trailer for the film was released on Tuesday.

It was slightly more believable than the teaser. Featuring Prabhas as Raghava/Rama, Kriti Sanon as Janaki/Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh/Ravana, the teaser for “Ramayana” lasts for more than three minutes. At the Adipurush fan preview, fans saw Prabhas and Kriti Sanon chatting and shouting “Jai Shri Ram” (which you can read about here). Watch

A glimpse of the trailer

The trailer opens with Lord Hanuman narrating the story of Raghava, a man born human but eventually became a god. Even though the film does an excellent job of depicting the major events of the Ramayana, the brief appearance of Saif as Lankesh, disguised as a guru, sticks out. A voice can be heard as he prays in front of a large shivling: “Brahmand mein tu jo bhi plane layak hai, tu pa chuka hai, fir bhi tu rakshas hi hai.

You’ve been given everything of value in the cosmos, yet you’re still labeled a devil. If you can win over Lakshmi, you will ascend to the status of Vishnu. The five languages that will have their versions of Adipurush are Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The trailer for Adipurush was simultaneously released in 70 countries and regions, including India. These countries and regions include Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Russia, Egypt, and more. Adipurush will have its world premiere on June 13 at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

A comeback after the teaser

Adipurush, the magnum opus starring superstar Prabhas, is set to hit theatres on June 16, and the highly anticipated teaser for the film was released yesterday. After last year’s poorly received teaser, this year’s Adipurush trailer had much to live up to, and it did not disappoint. The trailer has received rave reviews and helped turn the film’s favor.

The response was so overwhelming that in just 24 hours, the 3-minute, 19-second video surpassed all others in views on YouTube in the Hindi language. The “Adipurush” teaser had 52 million Hindi views with an hour.
