In winter, the sun can still be strong, especially with snow around, which reflects sunlight. To protect your skin during outdoor workouts, put on sunscreen with at least SPF 30 on the parts of your skin that are not covered.
In the cold months, use a good winter moisturizer to stop your skin from getting dry and irritated. Put it on before and after you exercise, especially on the parts of your skin that are out in the open.
When it's cold and windy, wear clothes in layers to keep your skin safe. The layer close to your skin should keep away sweat, the middle one should keep you warm, and the outer layer should stop the wind and rain from getting to you.
Remember to take care of your hands, feet, and face when it's cold. Wear gloves to keep your hands warm, use thermal socks for your feet, and cover your face with a mask or scarf to protect it from the chilly winds.
After exercising in the cold, you might want a hot shower to warm up, but hot water can make your skin too dry by taking away its important oils. It's better to use warm, not hot, water.
In the winter, it's important to keep doing the same things for your skin regularly. Make a plan and stick to it. The more you take care of your skin in the same way, the better it can handle the tough winter weather.
Grateful for your time!
