95% of these satellites have already come down from orbit, and 17 of them cannot be maneuvered. However, efforts are being made to track these satellites closely to prevent collisions with others.
SpaceX says its satellites will naturally fall out of orbit within 5 years if they fail. However, they have already started deliberately bringing down 406 of the nearly 6,000 launched satellites for controlled deorbiting.
SpaceX should easily address the replacement of the impacted satellites, given its capability to launch more than 200 Starlink satellites every month.
