Director Shravan Tiwari stated, “‘Aazam’ is a passion project for me, and I’m excited to bring this gripping story to the audiences,” when asked about the film with star Jimmy Shergill. The story of ‘Aazam’ centers on the struggle for power inside the mafia organization led by Nawab Khan and his five associates. Nawab’s son, Kader, is the rightful heir to the company, but on the guidance of his friend Javed (Jimmy Shergill), he wants to wipe off all of Nawab’s associates.

However, Kader’s strategy for the gang war falls through since other syndicate members have their own plans. DCP Joshi is smack in the thick of this plot, trying to quell gang violence. In “Aazam,” the five partners who run the city as a syndicate are all trying to unseat Nawab Khan, the current boss. Kader, Nawab’s son and rightful heir to the firm, follows Javed’s counsel and plans to destroy all of his father’s partners.
